You realize your life is a TV show and you are the protagonist.

Reel Life

Wondering as he walks down the street, “There is something wrong, something is missing, it does not feel right. It used to be different, but now, it seems incomplete. And the worst part is, I can’t put my finger on it. How am I supposed to fix something that I am not aware of?” Passing people, as he walks down the street, lacking the confidence to look strangers in the eye.

Upon reaching the shit building, where the elevator is, and has been busted for 2 months. And he has to walk 8 stories, just to go and sit on the desk, and work. Each passing minute, each passing hour, and each passing day, he loathes the job. Yet, has been slogging, hoping, for a better outcome, hoping, things to change.

Trying his best to focus on the task at hand, his phone rang, breaking his immersion. He looks at the message, received from his close friend stating, “The stocks have dropped, this was the dumbest decision of my life,” and having complete faith in your friend's word, your portfolio had also taken a massive hit. Hoping the rent will be paid from the investment for many months, but it had broken your bank account in half. Leaving nothing but a hole that will take another year or two to fill.

After hearing the news, your spirit had shattered in pieces, making our dead inside to not even care for the deadline the work had brought. And you decide to leave early, like many times you have, blaming your nervous system for being too weak. And, after spending an hour and a half on commuting, you reach home.

As you reach for your wallet, to get the keys, you realize the phone is missing. One that you had decided to splurge on yourself, your prized possession, the best most expensive item you owned, and your daily driver, is stolen or probably lost. Another hole in the bank account, and a resentful account holder.

The decision to come home and sulk on the sofa has been a costly affair. Now with pent-up rage and frustration, you had to go to the police station and filed a complaint. And proceeded to get scammed while leaving, just outside the gates. And once again there you were with yourself and your pent-up anger.

As you started walking without any care, which you should have, having crossing the road. The only noise you hear is of tyers screeching, and it sounded too close to comfort. By the time, you look to your left, the car is right in front of you, and coming close, extremely, fast. And soon it hits you. Your legs make the first contact, and as they bend to the will of the car, your body leans its side and your face hits the bonnet.

Your eyes open to a complete shock, as you look around. People running around, with lights and cameras, as if the job is done. “Let’s move to a new guy, he woke up already. What a waste of time this was!”
